Foundation presents the West Bottoms Urban Bazaar June 13^th & 14^th, 2008. This eclectic shopping and entertainment experience takes place Friday evening from 5:00pm to 10:00pm and Saturday from 10:00am to 3:00pm. The Bazaar will feature a variety of art, home décor, salvage, vintage furnishings, collectables, clothing and fashion design. If you make or sell something then the West Bottoms Urban Bazaar is the market place for you!

Friday night’s Shopping Party includes a special Fathers Day happy hour hosted by lillibelle with a cash bar provided by Jp wine bar and food by Arnones Café’. “My Dad Rocks” live music stage will feature the talent of local bands The Life & Times, namelessnumberheadman and The Sexy Accident. A live mannequin fashion exhibit will feature Kansas City designers christianMICHAEL and Cali Roberta with the Pink Pistols. On the first floor FOUNDATION proudly presents the Kansas City debut performance of Le Voler. Witness their athletic artistry of aerial fabric acrobatics with accompaniment by Dj Meatfoxx and videography by VJDN8. Saturday the market is open for all day shopping fun with unique flavour and one of a kind finds. Admission at the door is $5.00 Friday evening (kids under 12 free) and Saturday is Free all day. Foundation is located at 1221 Union Avenue Kansas City, MO 64101.

The registration fee for becoming a vendor at the two day indoor shopping event is $45.00 for a 10’ x 10’ booth space. Vendor set up time is available on both days starting at 9:00am Friday morning through 6:00pm with additional load in time Saturday morning from 8:30am till 10:00am. Each vendor is responsible for all display set ups, racks, tables, chairs, mannequins, mirrors, etc. The booth spaces are marked off by tape (no booth rails, etc.). Spaces are allotted to each vendor based on the order application is received and description of merchandise being presented.
